This china is vintage and therefore will have been used or simply stored by its previous owner.

Information is kept only for as long as necessary to provide you with my services.
I am committed to keeping customer's personal information secure. It is never sold or shared. Customer's details are only used for direct communication about specific orders via Etsy's messaging system.
However, it is my legal and regulatory obligation to retain data i.e. business records in the UK for sales for a certain time period after which they are destroyed. No information is shared outside Europe.
All technology in use by me is kept up to date with current security software and is not made available for use by anyone else.

China -
Remember that vintage china is old and not always dishwasher or microwave proof; it should always be washed and dried carefully by hand.
China with gilding should not be placed in a dish washer or microwave.
Recommend china is hand washed.

Scarves -
Vintage scarves should have a cold hand wash and cool iron.

Vintage condition and listings?

I sell vintage only in this Etsy shop and my stock is 20 years or more. There may be slightly newer items in my Etsy pattern shop.
Vintage stock has been used by previous owners or displayed for years. I do not knowingly sell anything with chips, cracks or crazing.
Condition of Items are described in the listings .
There may be variations in base marks, colours or perhaps quality from the manufacturing stage. Older items may have imperfections from the manufacturing process.

Scarves are carefully hand washed and ironed.
Book covers are given a gentle wipe.

Custom and personalised orders

Royal Mail 'International standard' service is generally used and shipping costs reflect that. Proof of postage only is obtained. With this service, if two or more boxes are sent to the same address they will not necessarily arrive as one consignment.

TRACKING service
Offered at ‘extra cost’ and is available . Despite approximate shipping times.
No guarantee that parcels arrive quicker, even during the Christmas period.

COURIER SERVICES
Used for multiple items weighing 2kg or more. Parcels are collected, registered for Tracking and Signed for. They arrive at the customer's door as one consignment.
For customers who would prefer to pay for a shipping service that offer this service, a quotation is obtained and agreed .

Returning goods

IF AN ITEM IS NOT SUITABLE
Returns will be accepted within the reporting time of 14 days. After the 'reporting time' the customer has 14 days in which to return the goods .Return shipping costs are the buyers responsibility.
A full refund will be given provided the item is received by the seller in the condition it was originally posted.

UNCLAIMED PARCELS/ INCORRECT ADDRESS
It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure an address is correct.
If an item is returned due to an incorrect address and in good condition a refund for the item 'less the original shipping cost' will be given.
Alternatively, if the item is still required, the shipping is again the
buyer's responsibility with the correct address given.

Delayed deliveries or item not received

Shipping times are only estimates and I have no control over delays caused by unforeseen circumstances once the package is in the hands of the shipping/postal delivery service overseas.
However, I am happy to work with my customers to try and resolve any issues and come to a satisfactory arrangement.
